About Numbers Alive
Numbers Alive’s mission is to “improve numerical literacy and encourage creativity and global citizenship by visualizing world patterns through fun and friendly number characters.”
Hello there dear readers, I am so excited to bring you Numbers Alive. I really cannot recommend Numbers Alive enough. I received the Hello Numbers Discovery Pack and from day one my toddler and I have had so much fun with these cute little number plushies. My 3 year old plays with them everyday and loves practicing counting. He can count to 3 by himself and can count all the way to 12 with my help. I’m one proud mommy!
The numbers connect by magnets and are colorful and interactive. The fact that these toys are also safe for my infant is a bonus. He likes to help out during our activities so it’s great that I am able to use soft plushies to teach my toddler math. I like how each number is a different color. My toddler notices the difference in colors and knows a few, such as orange, orange is his favorite! Learning how to memorize certain things like color and shape will turn into recognizing numbers. Such as the number 9. My toddler loves orange and knows which one is orange. So I tell him that the orange plushie is also the number 9.
Eventually he’ll remember more than just the color. He will recognize the shape and be able to see 9 for what it is regardless of color.
Number’s Alive’s Hello Number’s Discovery Pack is fun and educational and is a perfect learning tool for young, curious minds. If you’d like to see a list of activities you could do with this discovery pack, click here.
