I received one shipment of the Gold Series Subscription Box. In Gold Series boxes you receive your choice of 2 whites, 2 red, or 2 mixed. The box I received pictures a photocopy of a lovely vineyard painting. I was a bit concerned about the possibility of the wine being damaged during shipment but upon opening the box I found the bottles firmly secure in a molded carton container. The bottles of wine even came in these lovely drawstring sleeves.
I received La Cruz Vineyard 2012 Pinot Gris and Casa de la Cruz 2009 Pinot Noir, both from the same winery Keller Estate in California. I tried these with a friend and her family. Even though the red wine was sweeter and smoother (in my opinion) I preferred the white over the red – which worked out because my friend’s family preferred the red.
If you’d like to try the Gold Series Subscription Box out for yourself or give it as a gift right now is a great time to do so. If you wish to gift a subscription you can save up to 45% by being an early bird and gifting by November 15th!
